By this time manioc cultivation area in Dong Phuoc A has more than 20 hectares, of which 70% is planted in. In the dry season, cassava leaf smoked daily, but the rainy season is the "swapped". In the commune, cassava leaf purchasing only through traders, prices tend to be unstable. Nguyen Mong Hung worried: "In the past years, the family made this model very effectively, I also want to expand the area, but concerns erratic price".

As senior cassava growers, Tran Van Muon, Phuoc Long live Hamlet, said: "Since cassava planting 1 ha land close interjected gardens, the family income has increased significantly. Many households in Chau Thanh district is to consider planting cassava on a large area, even thought about breaking the current crop. This makes local authorities worried.
