Average domestic prices in the Philippines month 3/2015 mixed, according to the Philippine Department of Agricultural Statistics (BAS). While the retail price of high-quality rice (WMR) and ordinary rice (RMR) decreases, the wholesale price of rice rose WMR and RMR.
Month 3/2015, the average retail price of rice dropped to 42.28 pesos WMR / kg compared to 42.61 pesos / kg in February, but up 3% compared to 41.09 pesos / kg in March 3/2014. The average wholesale price of rice rose to 39.49 pesos WMR / kg, up 2% compared to 38.54 pesos / kg in March 2/2015 and up 2% compared to 38.56 pesos / kg month 3/2014.
The average retail price of rice in January 3/2015 RMR decreased 37.8 pesos / kg, down 1% compared to 38.29 pesos / kg month 2/2015 but unchanged from March 3/2014. The average wholesale price of rice rose to 35.41 pesos RMR / kg, up 1% compared to 35.02 pesos / kg in May 2/2015, but decreased by 1% compared to 35.83 pesos / kg month 3/2014.
In dollar terms, the average retail price of rice dropped 3/2015 WMR month 952 USD / ton, down 1% compared to 965 USD / ton in March 2/2015. The average wholesale price of rice increased WMR 889 USD / ton, an increase of 2% compared to 873 USD / ton in March 2/2015.
The average retail price of rice dropped RMR 851 USD / ton, down 2% compared to 867 USD / ton in March 2/2015. The average wholesale price of rice increased RMR 797 USD / ton compared to 793 USD / ton in March 2/2015.
The average retail price of rice in the Philippines WMR period January - March increased to 42.64 pesos 3/2015 / kg, an increase of 6% compared to 40.28 pesos / kg to the same period in 2014, while the average wholesale price of rice WMR increased 39.09 pesos / kg, up 3% compared to 37.79 pesos / kg in the same period of 2014.
Month period 1-3 / 2015, the average retail price of rice rose to 38.35 pesos RMR / kg, up 3.5% compared with 37.05 pesos / kg to the same period of 2014. The average wholesale price of rice RMR increased 35.34 pesos / kg, up slightly from 35.08 pesos / kg to the same period in 2014, according to the BAS.
In dollar terms, the period of August 1-3 / 2015, the average retail price of rice reached WMR 961 USD / ton, an increase of 6% compared to 901 USD / t the same period of 2014. The average wholesale price of rice increased to 881 USD WMR / ton, an increase of 9% compared to 805 USD / ton to the same period in 2014.
The average retail price of rice increased RMR 864 USD / ton month period 1-3 / 2015, an increase of 4% compared to 829 USD / t the same period of 2014, while wholesale prices increased RMR 797 USD / ton, up 1 , 5% compared to 785 USD / ton to the same period in 2014.
