Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, said the first 4 months of 2015, exports of agricultural, forestry, aquaculture is estimated at $ 8.5 billion, down 5.1% yoy. In particular, the export of agricultural products is estimated at $ 4.5 billion, down 5.1%; Seafood export is estimated at $ 1.9 billion, down 15%; export of timber and timber products is estimated at over $ 2 billion, up 6.6% yoy. In it is worth noting that exports of rice, coffee, aquatic products fell sharply.

Strengthening trade promotion
Before these challenges, the Deputy Prime Minister has instructed the Ministry of Industry and Trade under the authority established a joint working group to promote export and import management; focus accelerate the negotiation of trade agreements, bilateral cooperation agreements, multilateral to facilitate the export of agricultural, forestry and fisheries; strengthen trade promotion activities; Operating reasonable re-exports operations not to affect agriculture, forestry and fisheries exports via auxiliary border gates and border crossings.

Ministry of Finance to consider proposals on the value added tax on goods tea, rubber and duties on semi-processed components and spare parts imported for production of technical rubber products; report to the Prime Minister in March 5/2015.
Simultaneously, the Ministry of Transport for consideration and handling of research proposals on specific mechanisms for motorized vehicles overloaded cargo for export of agricultural products and the increase of the cost control of the company ships; circumstances beyond their authority, reporting to the Prime Minister.
