According to published news, the evening of 29/5, at Kazakhsatn, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on behalf of the Government of Vietnam has officially signed a free trade agreement (FTA) between Vietnam and the Member States Intelligent Economy Asia - Europe (EEU), including Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
In the program "People ask - Ministers answer" on 31/5, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Cao Duc Phat has also shared many solutions to ensure agricultural output for Vietnam today. In particular he stressed the FTA Development recently signed will assist Vietnamese agricultural products.
Specifically, the signed FTA will open up a large market for Vietnamese agricultural products. EEU is a population of over 175 million people with a GDP of US $ 2,500 billion.
Besides, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in close collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Foreign Affairs to work with countries to unfreeze terms of legal procedures, enabling all kinds of vegetables in our country sold into the market more abroad.
Hopefully with these agreements, Vietnamese farmers will not fall into "crying" for their agricultural products like rice, watermelon, red onion jam ... unmarketable and thousands of tons.
However, the most important thing is to promote the quality of agricultural products. In fact, this is very much limited because products exported to foreign countries is not good quality to affect many other businesses with similar goods.
